WASHINGTON (CIRCA) - Under the terms of President Donald Trump's recent immigration ban, an Iranian director won't be let into the United States to attend the Feb. 26 Academy Awards ceremony, according to CBS News. Iran is one of the seven predominantly Muslim nations - including Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen - in which residents are barred entry into the U.S. for 90 days, The New York Times reported.

Asghar Farhadi's "The Salesman" received a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film - a category he won in 2012 with "A Separation."
