Naomi Campbell and Sadiq Khan both fear that Brexit could lead to a "talent drain" in the capital.

The supermodel interviewed the Mayor of London for the December issue of British Vogue, which is the first to be edited by Edward Enninful.

When Campbell asked Mr Khan what Britain’s biggest challenges were in relation to Brexit, he replied: "The obstacles [it would] put in the way of talent coming here. And what’s the secret of every great city in the world? Talent."

She added: "I’m concerned that they’re going to go elsewhere."

Mr Khan noted the importance of the creative sectors, saying: "One in six jobs in London is in the creative industries."

"And you know what the biggest part of the creative industries is? Fashion."

Campbell went on to call Mr Khan a "very vocal advocate for the LGBT+ community and an ally to women".

Mr Khan said it "can’t be right" that women in London earn on average 12 per cent less than men and added: "As far as the LGBT+ communities are concerned, I think it’s a source of embarrassment that I’m the first ever mayor to walk the entire Pride event in London. Last year."
