This year’s Record Store Day is Saturday, April 20, bringing hundreds of exclusive pressings to shops across the country — and we combed through the metaphorical bins so you don’t have to.     

Record Store Day 2024 features exclusive releases from big names like The Beatles, David Bowie, The Cranberries, Grateful Dead and Queen, with the full list of releases spanning an impressive (and overwhelming) eight pages. But don’t worry, we narrowed down the catalog to bring you a list of pressings to keep an eye out for — including De La Soul, Gorillaz, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

2 Chainz/Lil Wayne – Welcome 2 Collegrove

Welcome 2 Collegegrove is the musical blend of two of the most influential artists in hip-hop. Blending the names of the artists’ hometowns – College Park, Georgia and Hollygrove, Louisiana, respectively – Welcome 2 Collegegrove honors a friendship and legacy with decades-old roots, pressed on a translucent vinyl.


Ashnikko – DEMIDEVIL: Special Edition

We’re falling in love with Ashnikko’s debut album all over again thanks to this special edition pressing – featuring two bonus tracks, “Tantrum” and “Daisy 2.0,” which have never been released on vinyl. DEMIDEVIL: Special Edition is pressed on transparent pink vinyl and features an exclusive eight-page booklet.


Nat King Cole – Live At The Blue Note Chicago

Featuring restored audio from original tape recordings, Nat King Cole’s Live At The Blue Note Chicago brings listeners never-before-heard live performances from his 1953 residency at the Chicago club. This exclusive pressing is equipped with a six-page booklet with photos of Cole in the city, and a copy of the original Blue Note Chicago newsletter about his visit.


Daft Punk – Something About Us (Love Theme From Interstella 5555)

Something About Us is the soundtrack to Kazuhisa Takenouchi’s 2003 anime science fiction short film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. The film serves as the visual companion to Daft Punk’s 2001 album Discovery.


De La Soul – Live at Tramps, NYC, 1996

Recorded on May 16, 1996 at the famous Tramps nightclub in New York, Live at Tramps serves as a musical time capsule of De La Soul’s performance. Featuring guests including Common and Mos Def, this collection of songs is the quintessential De La Soul performance.


Fetty Wap – Fetty Wap

Re-experience Fetty Wap’s debut self-titled album on an opaque purple vinyl, featuring bonus tracks “LET IT BANG,” “FOR MY TEAM” and “WHATEVA.”


Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – Piñata – 10 Year Anniversary Edition

Piñata was the 2014 collaborative project between Freddie Gibbs and Madlib that changed the trajectory of their careers during a low point, now celebrating 10 years.


Gorillaz – Cracker Island (Deluxe Vinyl Edition)

Gorillaz’ 2023 album Cracker Island is reborn with six additional tracks and redesigned album artwork by Jamie Hewlett. This limited-run release is pressed on pink and magenta vinyl, with four bonus tracks and two remixes.


Wiz Khalifa – Loud Pack

Loud Pack delivers five defining singles from Wiz Khalifa’s career, including the first-ever vinyl pressing of his platinum hit “The Thrill.” This exclusive release comes in a matte-treated and embossed box with each disc pressed in a different color.


Lil Uzi Vert – Luv Is Rage

The second commercial mixtape released by Lil Uzi Vert, Luv Is Rage is a compelling and powerful project.


Lil Wayne – Sorry 4 The Wait

Released in July 2011, Lil Wayne’s Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape served as an apology for wait time leading up to his ninth studio album. After being withheld from digital platforms, Sorry 4 The Wait is now accessible on streaming – with a vinyl pressing available for RSD.


Metro Boomin – Metro Boomin Presents Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Soundtrack 

The soundtrack to Marvel’s 2023 film Across The Spider-Verse features tracks from Metro Boomin, Coy Leray, Don Toliver, Wizkid and more. The record is housed in a Japanese-designed flip jacket that features artwork from the film. Metro Boomin will also headline Lollapalooza this year with collaborator Future.


Moneybagg Yo – A Gangsta’s Pain

A Gangsta’s Pain is the fourth studio album from Moneybagg Yo. The 22-track album has been pressed for the first time on a translucent ruby vinyl.


Nas – Illmatic: Remixes & Rarities

30 years after its release, Nas’ lllmatic: Remixes & Rarities LP has been re-pressed and features meticulously selected remixes and obscure tracks.


Notorious B.I.G. – Ready To Die: The Instrumentals

After being named the number one hip-hop album of all time by Rolling Stone, Ready To Die has been pressed as an instrumental collection to bring a new dimension to the iconic album.


Public Enemy – Revolverlution Tour 2003

Public Enemy’s 2003 “Revolverlution Tour” served as the group’s 15th anniversary celebration. Now, the complete concert will be released on vinyl for the first time — in a deluxe triple vinyl package — featuring performances in cities across the world.


Charlie Parker – Norman Granz’ Jazz At The Philharmonic

Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Charlie Parker’s landmark recording. Parker’s 1949 performance incorporated swing-era titans Roy Eldridge and Lester Young onstage at New York’s Carnegie Hall. The LP has been mastered from the original recording and pressed onto a yellow vinyl.


Queen Latifah – Nature of a Sista

Queen Latifah blends  R&B, dance, reggae and funk on her 1991 album. With production from Soulpower Productions, Naughty By Nature and more, Nature of a Sistah is flooded with feel-good melodies.


Son Lux – Stranger Forms

Academy Award- and BAFTA-nominated band Son Lux’s 2016 release will be pressed on vinyl for the first time, where the band reimagines and expands upon their six-track EP.


Mavis Staples – Have A Little Faith (Deluxe Edition)

Mavis Staples’ 2004 album Have A Little Faith transported the gospel and soul icon into the 21st century. After facing rejection from record labels unable to see her appeal to modern listeners, the album was picked up by Alligator Records and Staples’ career was launched once again. This 20th-anniversary edition of Have A Little Faith features a letter from Staples, expanded album art and two remastered LPs pressed on silver vinyl.


Donna Summer – Many States Of Independence

This exclusive Record Store Day release of Many States Of Independence showcases several monumental recordings of the song, including a New Bass Mix Edit and a 12” Millennium Mix with Martin Luther King.


Sun Ra – Sun Ra At The Showcase: Live In Chicago 1976-1977

This pressing features previously unreleased live audio from Sun Ra’s performance at Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase in Chicago. The limited-edition two-LP set includes rare photographs, liner notes, interviews and more from various music icons.


Sister Rosetta Tharpe – Live in France: The 1966 Concert in Limoges

Hailed as “The Godmother of Rock n’ Roll,” Sister Rosetta Tharpe’s career was nothing short of extraordinary. For the first time, a live recording of Tharpe’s 1966 concert at the Grand Theatre in Limoges, France will be available on a limited-edition 180-gram, two-LP vinyl set.


Summer Walker – Over It (Complete Set)

Experience Atlanta singer-songwriter Summer Walker’s 2019 debut album on an exclusive two-LP set. Over It features appearances from artists you may hear on Vocalo like PartyNextDoor, Jhené Aiko, Usher and Bryson Tiller. This pressing comes with original tracks, acapella and instrumental versions.


The Weeknd – Live At SoFi Stadium

Canadian singer The Weeknd’s debut live album Live At SoFi Stadium features recordings across two nights during his November 2022 residency in Inglewood, California on his “After Hours til Dawn Tour.”
