Visit Philadelphia Announces Finalists for Second-Annual Liberty Bell Awards
PHILADELPHIA, March 10, 2025 – Visit Philadelphia has announced the finalists for The Liberty Bells, the second-annual awards recognizing the city’s most beloved attractions, businesses and cultural institutions that make Philadelphia a city unlike any other.
Launched last year, The Liberty Bells coincides with awards season (the Academy Awards, Grammys, etc.) and was created to showcase the diverse offerings within our region chosen by the people who know them best: Philadelphians.
With over 1,600 nominations submitted, this year’s awards feature an exciting lineup of finalists across ten categories, from The New Must-Visit in Philly’s 4.0 Food Scene to The Only Locals Know. Voting is now open at visitphilly.com/libertybells, giving the public the chance to crown their favorites.
“Philadelphians take great pride in their city, and there’s no one better to champion the businesses, attractions and people who make this region a must-visit destination,” said Angela Val, president and CEO of Visit Philadelphia. “Celebrating what makes Philadelphia special strengthens our sense of community, and that enthusiasm is contagious. Visitors feel it, experience it and are inspired to come back for more.”
New this year, Visit Philadelphia has introduced the official Liberty Bells icon — a fresh, modern take on one of the city’s most recognizable symbols. The illustrated bell, sporting star-shaped shades, embodies Philly’s trailblazing spirit and signature atty-tude, bringing even more excitement to this year’s celebration.
